Issue information
The 2011 New Zealand Silver Currency Set is the first New Zealand numismatic collection of its kind and a true celebration of our nation. New Zealand’s five currency coin designs have been struck from fine silver (99.9%) exclusively for this collection.
The coins come stylishly presented in a striking black gloss box, adorned by one of New Zealand’s most recognisable icons, the silver fern. The designs featured on New Zealand’s currency uniquely capture elements of our culture, history and heritage. They’re a stunning representation of Aotearoa, New Zealand – the land of which we are so intensely proud.
All five silver coins in this set were struck in 2011 and have a worldwide mintage of just 1200. This special piece of New Zealand is a striking addition to any numismatic collection and the perfect way to commemorate 2011 special occasions in style.
